By the time
the group arrived at the Palmer Visitor Info Center it was down to a drizzle. We learned a lot of history about Palmer and its beginning.

We next visited an original Colony House, now a museum. This was one of the original homes of the Matatuska Colony.

Then it was off to a great lunch at The Inn Café, which is also one of the original colony buildings. We had a wonderful Tomato & Spinach Soup & Croissant Sandwich awaiting us, followed with an Icecream desert.
