Day 44: Travel to Palmer, Alaska

We woke up to a beautiful day.  It was sunny, blue sky and no clouds. Perfect for traveling. We left the RV park about 9:00 heading for Palmer, Alaska.

As we traveled the scenery seemed to just get more beautiful.  The mountains were covered with snow and the low land was a beautiful green.

Beautiful green areas

The RV park in Palmer was named Mountain View.  And the name was very appropriate for the area.

Everyone got settled into their RV site, and about 7:00 pm  they gathered at the fire pit for a Marshmallow Roast.  The S'mores were great.  Ivy really liked hers, and Jesse and Rita should have won a prize for the prettiest roasted marshmallows.

Today we also got to celebrate Helen's Birthday (29 and holding).

Happy Birthday Helen
Just as the evening was coming to an end, we were visited by some local/wild goats

Again, another fun and fulfilling day.
