Day 26: Travel to Fairbanks, Alaska

On the road to Fairbanks, finally. And it appears to be a good and decent road.

Road from TOK to Fairbanks
Our first stop was at Delta Junction Meat and Sausage Company.  If we can't see real live animals, at least we see them ground up!  Most of us stopped and bought reindeer sausage and buffalo meat. The samples were very tasty.

We found the end of the Alaskan Highway and also a farmers market. Seems we always looking for food.

As we neared Fairbanks, we came to North Pole and we all had our picture with Santa.

After making our purchases at the Christmas Store, we came on in to Rivers Edge RV Park. It is very nice with full hookups, cable and WiFi. Hooray!
